coffee break (par Peter Vernunft - Germany)
When three baltic countries joined the European Union, four friends from Berlin decided to have a little adventure in the north. We took a cheap flight with bicycles to Riga in Latvia, where we entered without formalities or inconveniences. Straight from the airport by bicycle to the sea-side. Lovely Jourmala "for lunch" and then endless beaches ahead. There is always a solid track of sand, not too exhausting to ride near the sea. Our tent was useless, as we found little wooden houses to rent for the night and even tents on the beach to make every brake pleasant. We spent five sporty days with ideal temperatures in the “wilderness” by the sea and two relaxed days in the old town of Riga before riding by bicycle to the airport. I enjoyed every minute!
